Last year I fell in love with all those adorable tutu’s I saw floating around the DIY scene. Since then I’ve made a couple of my own and even had someone request to buy one!  Looking ahead a bit I’m thinking of making them for craft bazaar’s this fall.  I made the following tutu’s by cutting strips of tulle, knotting them around some sewn elastic and weaving some cute ribbon on it. A quick and easy way to make your baby girl the princess of her Birthday party!

This is the one I made for my niece’s 1st Birthday. It went perfectly with birthday onsie.

I call it the Strawberry Shortcake tutu. 🙂

This one was done for my cousin’s girl who was turning 1.  She loves all things zebra print!

I used the same method to make my halloween costume last year. I just added lots of feathers!  I was the Roadrunner and my adorable bf was Wile E. Coyote.
